Sail Maui provided the best snorkeling boat outing my group and I could have asked for. While they have some trips that leave early, their 10am Lana’i snorkel option was prime for my group of early-avoidant people. From the second we stepped on the boat we didn’t have to worry about a thing — the breakfast of fresh cut fruit/chobani/banana bread/croissants/coffee was perfect, the packed lunch was delightful, and the staff was attentive for all needs ranging from sunscreen providing to snorkel gear checks to re-ups on water and/or beer/champagne/mai tais and were happy to answer questions about sailing/the area/snorkeling/etc etc. The boat itself was clean and spacious, and Sail Maui’s limitations on capacity to be COVID-safe meant *plenty* of room to move about and maintain a good distance from other passengers. The staff was great, the vibes on the boat were delightful, and overall this experience was perfect. It was also somehow the most affordable option of the catamaran snorkel options I researched. 10/10 recommend a snorkel outing with Saul Maui!

Sail Maui always knows the best spots and is just a nice, friendly and relaxed group. We first snorkeled with them 22 years ago when they were Paragon. We do a trip with them every time we are here. They are the best!

This was the best experience on our trip! Our captain and tour guides made sure we were all prepared before we left. Our trip ended up being the first official day of whale season in Maui and we were lucky that our tour guides were informative about the whales and how to find them! We got to see two whales breach and see multiple different whales! It was truly the best!
We have sailed with Sail Maui several times before and it never disappoints. I would highly recommend going through them. Excellent service and sailing
We loved the crew, drinks, pupus and whales. Laughing with new friends was a bonus. We got the money shots of breaching whales. The banana bread was yummy on the way out
We had a magical evening on the Paragon with the Sail Maui crew for a sunset cruise. We felt safe with our 11 and 15 year old to enjoy a 360 degree view of the sunset, moonrise, and distant rainstorm. Due to Covid, the boat had reduced capacity and we had a lot of space to move around
A perfect way for us to spend the day on the water; snorkeling off Lanai (can’t go onto the island due to Covid), seeing spinner dolphins and swimming with turtles during the return. Amazing banana bread (from Maui’s Best Banana Bread), coffee and fruit for a continental breakfast, rum drinks and local beer during the cruise and a hearty packed lunch kept us full. The crew was very attentive all day, even providing reef safe sunblock. We can’t recommend the friendly service enough.
What a cool experience! Top notch service, cocktails while the sun sets, good friends and yummy snacks! Highly recommend!

Sailed with Sail Maui before but this was first time on Alihilani. Captain Chad and crew Britt & Jeff were friendly and helpful hosts.
Went during covid restrictions so even more space and comfort than usual aboard their luxurious catamaran. Felt safe and still had tons of fun. There were passengers of all ages enjoying the ride and snorkeling. Highly recommend
Sail Maui does it right! We did the Lanai Coast Snorkel and the Paragon Sunset Sail on 2 different days and had such a wonderful time!
The catamarans were beautiful, well-maintained, and spacious. The crew onboard, especially Britt, Kevin, and Lacey, were fantastic. We felt safe and had a wonderful trip.
The lunch for the Lanai snorkel was pretty decent and we enjoyed the various beverage options on both of the sailings.
We had an EXCELLENT day on board with Saul Maui! The crew of Dan & Justin were fantastic, making sure to keep offering us drinks, food, and anything else we need. Dan provided some great information on the different locations/wildlife we were seeing. There were sandwich lunch boxes (due to covid) that were tasty and hit the spot in the middle of the day. Two great snorkeling spots at Manele Bay and then at Mala Pier by Lahaina where there was a really colorful reef and LOTS of turtles.
Don’t worry, they’ll make sure you see turtles, and to stop and check out any sea life on the crossing. On our day we were lucky enough to see a humpback whale tail from afar, and two bottlenose dolphins swam right along our boat!
